Here is a Cliff Kincaid article about a study performed by Celent, a Boston-based firm that provides independent information and advice to financial services companies.

The analysis, Flawed Assumptions about the Credit Crisis: A Critical Examination of US Policymakers, concludes that the result of the unjustified massive federal intervention in the economy could be similar to the economic crisis in the Weimar Republic of 1922, where disastrous hyperinflation made the currency worthless and threatened the nation’s political system and stability.

Part 9 in a multipart series examining solutions for our ailing economy, presented by Art Thompson, CEO of The John Birch Society.

It is not our purpose to delve into the various complications of the Federal Reserve, but only to touch on the highlights and ramifications of such a system.

The American people have to decide one of two things:

1) Do they want to remain free and independent, taking responsibility for their own lives, or;

2) Allow Congress to continue to go beyond the Constitutional limitation of government and allow any agency to control and issue fiat money, and the amount of that issue.

We are currently operating under the system listed as option number 2. How we got here involves two major steps away from the economic system of individual freedom our Founding Fathers preserved for us. The first occurred during the Civil War as the Coinage Act. Then, just before World War I, the stablishment of the Federal Reserve. There were other minor and supporting acts augmenting the power and scope of these two important actions along the way.

The Constitution was brought about to protect the rights of the individual and the people. In the course of protecting these rights, the Constitution stipulates what Congress and the states may do concerning money. The powers given to the Congress were short and specific: to mint gold and silver, establish the value thereof, to establish the value of foreign coin, and require the states to pay debts in gold or silver.

It was not that our Founders were unfamiliar with paper money that caused them to mention only gold and silver ― it was because they were very familiar with paper money that they only mentioned gold and silver.

One of the crucial arguments in the Constitutional Convention was the desire to keep government from issuing paper money. The colonialists had a very bad experience as a result of issuing the “Continental,” the paper money issued by the Continental Congress during the War of Independence. The paper was worthless, built more on hope than substance. It was so worthless that for nearly two hundred years a saying in America was, “It’s not worth a Continental.”

This was a message forwarded by my Patriot friend Paul Stramer on August 28, 2008. I was searching for another article to post but when I read the one below, I was struck with what a truly amazing Constitutional American Presidential Candidate Ron Paul was. He represents the vast majority of American's and its sad to see this country go by way of New World Order being rammed down our throats by Elite groups secretly conspiring against us like the Rockefellers Council on Foreign Relations.

Now that Obama has shown his hand with appointments to key positions being filled with CFR and Rockefeller ilk, my momentary optimism Barack would possibly start doing the right things for this country has vanished.

My disgust of the average American person has vanished as well. With the media being controlled by the same Elite's who control the private Federal Reserve Bank System, the US Congress, the oil industry, the pharmaceutical industry, the automobile industry, the American educational system etc, etc, it's no wonder the average American hasn't got a clue as to what is really happening to this country. I'm saving up my rage for another post early next week. The other day, I made a huge "gaffe" on national TV: I told the truth about the crimes of the U.S. Government. As you can imagine, the ceiling fell in, and a couple of walls too. Congressmen are supposed to support the government, I was told. Oh, it's okay to criticize around edges, but there are certain subjects a member of the House of Representatives is not supposed to bring up. But I touched the real "third rail" of American politics, and the sparks sure flew. I was interviewed on C-SPAN's morning "Washington Journal," and I used the opportunity, as I do all such media appearances, to point out how many of our liberties have been stolen by the federal government. We must take them back. The Constitution, after all, has a very limited role for Washington, D.C.

If we stuck to the Constitution as written, we would have:
no federal meddling in our schools
no Federal Reserve
no U. S. membership in the U.N.
no gun control
no foreign aid
no welfare for big corporations, or the "poor,"
no American troops in 100 foreign countries
no NAFTA, GATT, or "fast-track,"
no arrogant federal judges usurping states rights
no attacks on private property;
no income tax.

We can get rid of most of the cabinet departments, most of the agencies, and most of the budget. The government would be small, frugal, and limited. That system is called Liberty. It's what the Founding Fathers gave us. Under liberty, we built the greatest, freest, most prosperous, most decent country on earth. It's no coincidence that the monstrous growth of the federal government has been accompanied by a sickening decline in living standards and moral standards.

The feds want us to be hamsters on a tread mill working hard, all day long, to pay high taxes, but otherwise entirely docile and controlled. The huge, expensive, and out-of control leviathan that we call the federal government wants to run every single aspect of our lives. Well, I'm sorry, but that's not America. It's not what the Founders gave us. It's not the country you believe in. It's not the country I believe in. So, on that TV interview, I emphasized not only the attacks on our property, but also the decline of our civil liberties, at the hands of the federal police. There's not supposed to be any federal police, according to the Constitution.

Then I really went over the line. I talked about the Waco massacre. Bill Clinton and Janet Reno claimed those 81 church members including 19 children, burned down their own Church, killed themselves, and good riddance. So they put a few survivors on trial, and threw them in prison for 40 years. We're not supposed to remember that the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms--talk about an unconstitutional agency--rather than arrest David Koresh on his regular morning jog, called in the TV stations for a big publicity bonanza, and sent a swat team in black masks and black uniforms to break down his front door, guns blazing. They also sent in a helicopter gun ship, to shoot the roof of a church full of innocents. The Branch Davidians resisted, and after a heartless siege of almost two months, and after cutting off food, water, electricity, and playing horrible rock and roll through huge speakers 24 hours a day, the Feds sent in tanks to crush the walls of the church, and inject poisonous CS gas.

Now, CS gas is banned under the Paris Convention on Chemical Warfare. The U.S. could not use it in war. But it could and did use it against American civilians. After the tanks did their work on the church, the place burst into flames, and all 81 people--men, women, children, and babies--were incinerated in a screaming horror. Did some feds set the fire? Did the flammable CS gas ignite, since without electricity, the parishioners were using lanterns? Did a tank knock over a lantern, striking one of the bales of hay being used against the thin, walls as a defense against bullets? Or did the Davidians, as Clinton and Reno claim, kill themselves?

A new documentary- -Waco: Rules of Engagement--may show, throughout FLIR infrared photography, FBI snipers killing the Davidians by shooting through the back of the church, where no media cameras were allowed. This film won a prize at the Sundance Film Festival. It was made by people who took government's side, until they investigated. Whatever the truth, there's no question that an irresponsible federal government has innocent blood on its hands, and not only from Waco. And the refusal of corrupt perverse liberals to admit it means nothing.

In my interview, in answer to a caller's question, I pointed out that Waco, in the federal murders at Ruby Ridge'--especially the FBI snipers shot that blast apart the head of the young mother holding her baby caused many Americans to live in fear of federal power. Then uttered the sentiment that caused the media hysteria: I said that a lot of Americans fear that they, too, might be attacked by federal swat teams for exercising their constitutional rights, or merely for wanting to be left alone.

Whoa! You've never seen anything like it. For days, in an all-out assault, I was attacked by Democrats, unions, big business, establishment Republicans, and of course the media, in Washington in my home state of Texas. Newspapers foamed at the mouth, calling me a "right-wing extremist." (Isn't that what King George III called Thomas Jefferson?)

I was even blamed for the Oklahoma City bombing! And by the way, I don't believe we've gotten the full truth on that either. All my many opponents were outraged that a congressman would criticize big government. "If you don't like Washington, resign!" said a typical big-city newspaper editorial. But the media, as usual, were all wet. (Do they ever get anything right?)

The average Congressman may go to Washington to wallow in power, and line his pockets with a big lobbying job for a special interest (so he can just keep ripping-off the taxpayers). But that's not why I'm in Congress. It's not why I left my medical practice as a physician. It's not why I put up with all of the abuse. It's not why I refuse a plush Congressional pension. I'm in this fight for a reason. I want to hand on to my children and grandchildren, and to you in your family, a great and free America, an America true to her Constitution, an America worthy of her history. I'll not let the crooks and clowns and criminals have their way. I'm in Congress to represent the ideas of Liberty, the ideas that you and I share, for the people of my district, for the people of Texas, for the people of America. That's why I'm working to stop federal abuses, and to cut the government: its taxes, its bureaucrats, its paramilitary police, its spending, its meddling overseas, and every single unconstitutional action it takes. And not with a pair of nail scissors, but with a hammer and chisel. Won't you help me do this work?

Not much of the federal leviathan would be left, if I had my way. But you'd be able to keep the money you earn, your privacy would be secure, your dollar would be sound, your local school would be tops, and your kids wouldn't be sent off to some useless or vicious foreign war to fight for the United Nations.

But Jefferson and the other Founders would recognize our government, and our descendants would bless us. By the way, when I say cut taxes, I don't mean fiddle with the code. I mean abolish the income tax and the IRS, and .. Recently, I asked a famous Republican Committee Chairman--who's always talking about getting rid of the IRS--why he engineered a secret $580 million raise for the tax collectors. "They need it for their computers," this guy told me. So the IRS can't extract enough from us as it is! The National Taxpayers Unions says I have the highest pro-taxpayer rating in Congressional history, that I am the top "Taxpayer's Best Friend." You know I won't play the Capitol Hill games with the Capitol Hill gang, denouncing the IRS while giving the Gestapo more of your money. Or figuring out some other federal tax for them to squeeze out of you.

I also want to abolish the Federal Reserve Bank. The value of our dollar and the level of our interest rates are not supposed to be manipulated by a few members of the power elite meeting secretly in a marble palace. The Federal Reserve is unconstitutional, pure and simple. The only constitutional money is gold and silver, not notes redeemable in them. Not fed funny money. Without the Federal Reserve, our money could not be inflated at the behest of big government or big banks. Your income in savings would not lose their value. Just as important, we wouldn't have this endless string of booms and busts, recessions and depressions, with each bust getting worse. They aren't natural to the free market; they're caused by the schemers at the Fed. President Andrew Jackson called the 19th century's Fed " The Monster" because it was a vehicle for inflation and all sorts of special-interest corruption. Let me tell you, things haven't changed a bit.

I also work to save our schools from D.C. interference. Thanks to the feds, new curriculums not only smear the Founders as "racist, slave owning elitists," they seek to dumb down all our students so they will all be equal. "Look-say" reading and the abolition of phonics has the same purpose, and so does the new "fuzzy" math, in which there are no right and no wrong answers. That must be what they use in the U.S. Treasury! It's certainly what they use in the U.S. Congress.

But ever since the beginning of federal aid to education and accelerating with the establishment of the rotten Department of Education, SAT scores have been dropping. Schools, with few exceptions, are getting worse every year. To save our kids, we must get the sticky fingers of the feds off our local schools, and let parents rule. That's what the Constitution says, and the Bible too.

And then there's my least favorite topic, the U.N. World government is obviously unconstitutional. It undermines our country sovereignty in the worst way possible. That's why I want us out of the U.N., and the U.N. itself taking a hike. After all, the U.N. is socialist and corrupt (many votes can be bought with a "blond and a case of Scotch" one U.N. ambassador once said). It costs many billions, and it puts our soldiers in U.N. uniforms under foreign commanders, and sends them off to unconstitutional, undeclared wars. When Michael New, one of the finest young men I've ever met, objected to wearing U.N. blue, he was kicked out of the American Army. What an outrage! Not one dime for the U.N., and not one American soldier! Not Haiti, not in Bosnia, not in Somalia, not in Rwanda. I know it's radical, but how about devoting American military efforts to defending America, and only America?

Such ideas, said one newspaper reporter, make me a maverick, who will never go far because he won't go along to get along. Darn right! What does "go far" mean? Get a big government job? To heck with that. And I won't sell my vote for pork either.

When I walked through the U.S. Capitol this morning, I got angry! . The building is filled with statues and paintings of Jefferson, Madison, and the other Founders.

Those great men sacrificed everything to give us a free country, and a Constitution to keep it that way. When I was first elected, I placed my hand on the Bible and swore an oath to uphold the Constitution. That's exactly what I'm fighting for. Such ideas drive the liberals crazy. Join this fight for the Constitution, and stop those who want to rip it up, and throw it in the Potomac. Together, we can join the Founders fight. Together we can make this history.

The Fraud of the Fed

Lets say Bob has been granted the power to legally create money out of thin air.

Bob loans this money at interest to Bill.

Bill spends money like there is no tomorrow on anything his heart desire's.

Bob and Bill have an agreement that makes it appear that Allen is responsible for paying Bob the interest and principle on the borrowed money.

Allen is dupped into believing he is responsible for the repayment of this debt and is diligent to pay this money out of his hard earned wages.

Bob is the Federal Reserve System and is a private bank owned by very powerful private individuals.

Bill is Congress who is fully aware of this fraud.

Allen is the American People who need to be made aware of this fraud.

I want to call America's attention to the Federal Reserve System/Corporation.

In 2005 Aaron Russo made a documentary exposing the fraud being perpetrated on the American people since 1913.

I highly recommend that everyone take a couple of hours to watch Aaron's "America: From Freedom to Fascism" and help make all of their friends and family aware of this fraud, by simple directing them to watch the documentary you highly recommend.

If you know any people who work for the IRS, recommend they watch Aaron's documentary.

If you know anyone who works for the local, state or Federal Governments, please recommend they watch Aarons documentary as well.

The spread of this information around the country is imperative for this countries survival and for the rest of the world, who's monetary systems are controlled by the same group of powerful private individuals.

We the people have control of who gets elected into Congress. Congress has the power to shut down the Federal Reserve System and end this horrific fraud.

If you are hesitant to go forth and watch Aaron's documentary, take a moment and ponder how much power you would have by creating and controlling the money for an entire country.

The same individuals who control the Fed are also the same people who own the petroleum cartel, the media cartel, the pharmaceutical cartel, the agricultural cartel and the military/industrial complex in this country.

It's no wonder the direction we are headed is towards mass corporatism to the demise of the American People.

This is the fraud of both the Federal Reserve System, who control Congress, who control the Federal Government to the benefit of the Fed and it's cronies.

Who is Barack Obama?

Obviously, it would be a disaster for America and the world if John McCain and Sarah Palin were to win the election today.

Voting for Obama is a simple way to repudiate the last eight years of George Bush, Dick Cheney, Karl Rove and the criminals who run what's called the Republican Party.

It's the only sane thing for decent human being do to.

But don't expect too much from Mr. Obama.

He's a "go along to get along" guy. As this video clearly shows, he's part of the "in group" and he's as much of a "maverick" as John McCain is.

Here are some simple thing Obama can do as president to improve things quickly and dramatically for this country.

Let's see how many of these things he does:

1. He can insist that all future elections have voting machines that generate a paper trail that can be audited. He can work to make sure that Americans aren't forced to wait three, four, even seven hours plus in line to cast votes.

2. He can end the illegal, immoral and financially ruinous occupation of Iraq.

3. He can order swift trials for all the prisoners still held in Guantanamo and freedom for those who are being held without charges. He can close Guantanamo.

4. He can outlaw the use of torture and begin the process of dismantling the Patriot Act and other assaults on the Constitution.

5. He can repudiate the policy of first strike and the idea of using nuclear weapons against Iran or any other country.

6. He can order an investigation into the recent multi-trillion dollar Treasury Department giveaway to investment banks and brokerage houses. He can also look into the operations of the Federal Reserve Bank and their role in creating the current financial catastrophe that's overcome the world.

7. He can aggressively roll back all Bush era anti-environment laws and the non-enforcement of existing environmental protection laws.

8. He can properly compensate the people of New Orleans for the failure of the federal levee system there and order an investigation into widespread fraud on the part of the US Army Corps of Engineers in that city and in Iraq.

9. He can work to roll back media regulation laws to pre-1988 standards and return the "fairness" rule which prohibited broadcast news outlets from acting as propaganda arms for specific political parties and politicians (ex. Fox News.)

10. He can break the oil industry's multi-decade collusion with automakers and work towards a ban on the manufacture of gasoline-powered vehicles after 2014 (we've NEVER needed gasoline as a fuel to power our cars - watch for future videos on this subject.)

All these things are within his power.

Some he can make happen by simple presidential order. Others, he can easily accomplish with a Democratic majority in the House and Senate.

How many of these things will he do?

We'll see.

But there's one thing for sure:

There's NO chance that McCain and Palin will do anything about any of these issues.

Vincent Bugliosi vrs George W. Bush

Vincent Bugliosi is out to get our soon to be ex-president Bush for deceiving Congress into believing Sadam Hussein and Irag were an imminent threat to America. Over 4,000 young American men and women have died and as many as 1,000,000 people no longer walk this earth because of that fraud.

A Wasted Vote By Chuck Baldwin

When asked why they will not vote for a third party candidate, many people will respond by saying something like, "He cannot win." Or, "I don't want to waste my vote." It is true: America has not elected a third party candidate since 1860. Does that automatically mean, however, that every vote cast for one of the two major party candidates is not a wasted vote? I don't think so.

In the first place, a wasted vote is a vote for someone you know does not represent your own beliefs and principles. A wasted vote is a vote for someone you know will not lead the country in the way it should go. A wasted vote is a vote for the "lesser of two evils." Or, in the case of John McCain and Barack Obama, what we have is a choice between the "evil of two lessers."

Albert Einstein is credited with saying that insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting a different result. For years now, Republicans and Democrats have been leading the country in the same basic direction: toward bigger and bigger government; more and more socialism, globalism, corporatism, and foreign interventionism; and the dismantling of constitutional liberties. Yet, voters continue to think that they are voting for "change" when they vote for a Republican or Democrat. This is truly insane!

Take a look at the recent $700 billion Wall Street bailout: both John McCain and Barack Obama endorsed and lobbied for it. Both McCain and Obama will continue to bail out these international banksters on the backs of the American taxpayers. Both McCain and Obama support giving illegal aliens amnesty and a path to citizenship. In the debate this past Tuesday night, both McCain and Obama expressed support for sending U.S. forces around the world for "peacekeeping" purposes. They also expressed support for sending combat forces against foreign countries even if those countries do not pose a threat to the United States. Neither Obama nor McCain will do anything to stem the tide of a burgeoning police state or a mushrooming New World Order. Both Obama and McCain support NAFTA and similar "free trade" deals. Neither candidate will do anything to rid America of the Federal Reserve, or work to eliminate the personal income tax, or disband the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Both Obama and McCain support the United Nations. So, pray tell, how is a vote for either McCain or Obama not a wasted vote?

But, back to the "he cannot win" argument: to vote for John McCain is to vote for a man who cannot win. Yes, I am saying it here and now: John McCain cannot win this election. The handwriting is on the wall. The Fat Lady is singing. It is all over. Finished. John McCain cannot win.

With only three weeks before the election, Barack Obama is pulling away. McCain has already pulled his campaign out of Michigan. In other key battleground states, McCain is slipping fast. He was ahead in Missouri; now it is a toss-up or leaning to Obama. A couple of weeks ago, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Florida were all leaning towards McCain, or at least toss-up states. Now, they are all leaning to Obama. Even the longtime GOP bellwether state of Indiana is moving toward Obama. In addition, new voter registrations are at an all-time high, and few of them are registering as Republicans. In fact, the Republican Party now claims only around 25% of the electorate, and Independents are increasingly leaning toward Obama.

Ladies and gentlemen, Barack Obama is headed for an electoral landslide victory over John McCain. John McCain can no more beat Barack Obama than Bob Dole could beat Bill Clinton.

I ask, therefore, are not conservatives and Christians who vote for John McCain guilty of the same thing that they accuse people who vote for third party candidates of doing? Are they not voting for someone who cannot win? Indeed, they are. In fact, conservatives and Christians who vote for John McCain are not only voting for a man who cannot win, they are voting for a man who does not share their own beliefs and principles. If this is not insanity, nothing is!

So, why not (for once in your life, perhaps) cast a vote purely for principle! Vote for someone who is truly pro-life. Someone who would quickly secure our nation's borders, and end the invasion of our country by illegal aliens. Someone who would, on his first day in office, release Border Patrol agents Ramos and Compean and fire U.S. Attorney Johnny Sutton. Someone who would immediately, upon assuming office, begin leading the charge to dismantle the Federal Reserve, overturn the 16th Amendment, expunge the IRS, and return America to sound money principles. Someone who would get the US out of the UN. Someone who would stop spending billions and trillions of dollars for foreign aid. Someone who would prosecute the Wall Street bankers who defrauded the American people out of billions of dollars. Someone who would work to repeal NAFTA, CAFTA, GATT, the WTO, and stop the NAFTA superhighway. Someone who would say a resounding "No" to the New World Order. Someone who would stop using our brave men and women in uniform as global cops for the United Nations. Someone who would stop America's global adventurism and interventionism. Someone who would steadfastly support and defend the right of the people to keep and bear arms.

Sittin at a TA in Corfu New York

I have been thinking about how much power you could wield being able to create money out of thin air. You could buy influence on your every whim. Oh if someone's price just went from 1.5 million to 10 million (or billion) for their influence over a situation, hey it would be no problem.. let me add a couple of digits to that account... and how many of your friends could use a little more money for some favors we need done. Just think of how much power you have to influence business. You get the money.. sorry you don't. Oh the Federal government needs a few billion for whatever reason.. there you go, I just created that money out of nothing.. and oh by the way, I need that interest payment from you citizens at your earliest convenience.

It's a beautiful day here in Corfu. There's a nice breeze.. clear blue skies and this part of the country is very pretty. I'm doing my laundry... just had a nice long shower. This TA's showers are newly remodeled with tile all round. Everything works nicely. I just had a Big Rig Rueben sandwich. The Rueben was a favorite sandwich of my father's. There was a little hole in the wall restaurant in Lucerne Valley CA that had a good rueben.. my dad would stop there for that sandwich every time we drove through that area. He would buy alfalfa hay from a guy down there off of Rabbit Springs Rd by the name of Paul Carson.. we'd be down there once a week to buy hay for the stables my family operated during the summers in Big Bear Lake area of Southern California back in the late 60's early 70's. Like so many business's that have come and gone by the whim of the insurance industry.. the stables where people could rent our horses by the hour for treks into the woods to observe the natural beauty of the area.. are gone. The liability insurance put my dad out of business.. That little place in Lucerne is gone now.. and so is my dad. But hey, we are all extensions of Source Energy.. all of our relationships are eternal just like we are eternal beings. This concept or belief is a newer one for me. The Economic outlook is poopy & about to hit the fan

If your tired of the bullspit controlled and contrived information being spewed by our major media, check out this economic forcast from someone who is aware of the frauds being perpetrated against the people of earth by the illuminati (I believe them to be the Rothschild's and Rockefeller's) here. I'm sitting in Salt Lake City Utah.. its a bit cooler here versus Jacksonville Florida. The one good thing about being stuck down there was I did get to watch the entire Ron Paul Press Conference at the National Press Club which took place on 09/10/08. The Link to that video page is http://www.voteronpaul.com/ . I'm a big fan of Ron and the Campaign for Liberty. The 4 candidates that were present at this press conference represent the majority (meaning 60% or more of the American population) of American's in this country who want to cease war in Iraq, stop the aggression toward Iran, don't want to move into a cold war situation with Russia and who want to bring a stop to the North American Union (where Canada, the US and Mexico are one country), they want to abolish the privately held Federal Reserve Corporation who have been robbing the American people blind since its inception in 1913. They want to do away with the "New World Order" which is the brainchild of the Rothschild and Rockefeller families (info). They want to return this once great nation to the Constitutional value's of our forefathers. They represent the majority of all American's who would love to see the current administration removed from office, then be brought up on charges of treason for crimes against the Constitution and the American People. These candidates represent the majority of American's who do not want to see another corporate bailout.. who want to see those people responsible brought to justice. The video's are highly recommended by me.

I personally would love to see the Amendment 16 - Status of Income Tax Clarified (which was never ratified by the States) and the Federal Reserve act of 1913 repealed and abolished. I urge anyone/everyone reading this to please go and sign that petition and send the link to all of your friends, family and co-worker.. and urge them to do the same. Our beloved insanely criminal president Bush is trying to find a use for the billions in defense (military industrial complex) department contracts for outdated cold war weaponry. So he figured by sending his contract Mercenaries to Georgia and starting a cold war style conflict with Russia, he could find an excuse to deploy those outdated weapons and keep in good stead with his buddies in the military industrial complex.

I have a load to take to Buffalo New York when the trailer gets here from Boise Idaho. My apprentice Terrence is a very good driver. He should be ready for upgrade as soon as we reach the required 15,000 miles of over the road training.

I'm sitting in my truck at a truck stop in Jacksonville Florida.. it's been 12 hours since our delivery last night.. I wake up to a QualComm message that our reload status is D: meaning getting a load out of here today is unlikely, but check back at 4:pm... last week my apprentice Terrence and I were stuck in Austin Texas for 2 days.. Florida is another black hole for freight.. much like most parts of Texas.

The main reason I chose trucking as a new career was 1) that there is demand for drivers 2) that as a trainer for C. R. England (CRE) I could exceed my financial obligations and pay back my creditors 3) ever since I was a young man while transporting horses from Tucson Arizona to Big Bear Lake California and back with my father.. I have always had a desire/fantasy about driving a big truck across this great country of ours.
Now with the economy seeming to collapse under the weight of countless compounding errors of our elected/corporate controlled officials, maybe picking this career has been a mistake. If I were able or given the 6 to 7 thousand miles a week I need to exceed my financial obligations.. then I would be singing a different tune.
Since I am in vent mode, well then vent I will. The driver managers/dispatchers hold way too much power in controlling our ability to run freight, which in turn controls our ability to earn money. Here is a brief history of my DM's since leasing a truck.

1) Fleet B9 - Justin Harvey transfered to a container division.
2) Benny Crawford took over from Justin.. he had the #1 solo fleet for a couple of weeks.. and I was running as a team with 2nd seat drivers at the time.. I don't know what happened to Benny.. I received a message from
3) Kevin Hoffman, Fleet ? that he was watching Fleet B9 .. Kevin gave me miles.. 7K in 1 week.. the most I've received in the 9 months with England. I was transfered to
4) Fleet D3 - Bryson Deppe 08/19/08. I was with this fleet less than a week and Bryson up and quits. I was shocked. I had just met him earlier the day I received a message that he walked out. Now I've been transfered to
5) Fleet G1 with Anthony C. and Johnny ? on 08/25/08.. got a solo run from SLC to Bolingbrook Illinois, then picked up my new apprentice Terrence in Hammond Indiana, went from there to Austin Texas, where we sat for 2 days (at $285 a day of net income) then deadheaded to Laredo Texas, hooked a loaded trailer out of Mexico and took it to Indianapolis Indiana. Then we got a load of frozen stuff from Indianapolis and brought it here to Jacksonville Florida.. where we will probably sit for 2 days again. Describing my angst over the QualComm to my DM, he replied with "call me please" which I did and proceeded to find out that there are 30 CRE trucks layed over in Florida.. so here we go again.. I'm frustrated, angered and helpless to do anything but nag my DM.

The last 30 days have yielded 14,504 miles. Divide 14,504 by 4 wks = 3,626 which would be a good solo drivers week. I need 6 to 7 thousand miles a week, or 24 to 28 thousand miles a month, which is what I expect to be able to run.

On the upside, I've had one good conversation with my DM today.. he's fully aware of my concerns and has stated his desire to help remedy the situation.

While in Austin Texas, I was introduced to David Blume, through a BrassCheck TV email. The information David offers about ethanol has been suppressed by big oil since the days of John Rockefeller who sponsored "Prohibition". He has written a book which I ordered the other day.. called "Alcohol Can Be A Gas". There is $300K (all private money) invested and over 4 years for David and a group of dedicated researcher's life's that have gone into what is being touted as the most comprehensive book on ethanol ever produced. I suggest watching all of Davids video's available online here. He presents an incredible future for America, providing jobs in rural area's (where they are needed most) and becoming free from the strangle hold of big oil. I love this guy.
